Classical music is often remembered as a painful experience back in the third grade when your teacher forced you to sing scales and you could not wait to go outside for recess.
The good news is that as an adult you can learn a little about classical music and appreciate and enjoy all it has to offer. Guess what – music by Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Brahms, among others, can be interesting and a lot of fun, and you will still have time to go out and play!
Many classical works have found their way into modern popular culture. Some may be familiar, some not so familiar. Come learn and listen to the origin of these classical gems and then listen to their modern popular adaptations.
Composers like Mozart, Rossini and Bach would not believe what has been done to their masterpieces. They would certainly approve and you will be surprised by what you already know!
