Anne Dublin on The Tailor Project a Post WWII program to make a future for survivors

The Garment Workers’ Scheme, approved by Canada in 1947, brought around 2,000 tailors and their families to work in the garment industry. Funded by the Canadian Jewish Congress and led by Jewish industry leaders, a committee selected tailors from displaced persons camps in Germany and Austria. Award-winning author Anne Dublin, whose father immigrated through the program, will discuss its history and impact.
