Art in Berlin – German Expressionism with Patrick Bade

Following on from Expressionism and Munch we want to conclude this series with a talk on German Expressionism, an art movement that emphasized the artist’s inner feelings or ideas over replicating reality, and was characterised by simplified shapes, bright colours and gestural marks or brushstrokes.
