Beginnings
The Churchill family was close to some of the Jewish Grandees. After his father’s death he relied heavily on Baron de Hirsh and Sir Earnest Cassel. When he entered Parliament, a chance encounter led to a lifelong relationship with Chaim Weizmann and Zionism.
