Radical Age
This final session imagines conversations between Titian, Goya, Turner, Monet, Picasso and Louise Bourgeois, focusing on the radical freedoms of late style. In their final years, these artists pushed materials and conventions to new extremes, from Titian’s expressive surfaces and Turner’s colour abstractions to Picasso’s gestural reworkings of past art and Bourgeois’s introspective textile installations. It asks what their late works share, how they might speak to one another, and what their creative daring still offers us today.
