Dame Nellie Melba, was a famous Australian operatic soprano. She achieved international acclaim for her performances and became one of the most renowned singers of her time. Melba is known for her exceptional voice and her contributions to the world of opera. Melba perceived every other soprano as a potential rival but Luisa Tetrazzini and Emma Eames were the main ones.
