Late Old Kingdom & Middle Kingdom

This week we will finish our look at the Old Kingdom exploring works from Dynasties 5 and 6. Then, we’ll explore the distinct and beautiful art of the Middle Kingdom -the time when new forms emerged and literature flourished. Behold the faces of sterner, more severe Kings and the beautiful models of factories and gardens placed in tombs.
