Seventy-two years later, 17-year-old Anselm Kiefer embarks on a travel grant journey tracing Van Gogh’s footsteps through Europe. Van Gogh’s Post-Impressionist legacy has profoundly influenced Kiefer’s 60-year career, shaping his monumental works that blend history, mythology, and science.

This exhibition, the first to explore Van Gogh’s impact on Kiefer, showcases works by both artists, including new, never-before-seen pieces by Kiefer.
