From 711 and the Moslem conquest of the Iberian Peninsula, the Jews living there experienced an extraordinary era. This presentation will examine the some of the great individuals, both Jewish and Moslem and the cultural symbiosis they achieved.
We will also address the disintegration of this remarkable civilisation and the ultimate expulsion of the Jews in 1492.
