“Virtual travel to the Exhibition” with Patrick Bade
December 7 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm EST$12.00
In this four-part series, Patrick will highlight artists who are currently represented in exhibitions in museums around the world.
Sandro Botticelli – Paris Exhibition at the Musee Jacquemart-Andre
Botticelli was one of the greatest artists in Florence and his career attests to the economic development and profound changes that transformed the rule of the Medicis. He is one of the most well-known Renaissance artists in Italy despite the fact that his life and the activity in his workshop remain something of a mystery. He consistently alternated between the production of one-off paintings and works issued in series, completed by his assistants.
The series includes:
Picasso Blue Period – Exhibition in Toronto at the AGO – Tues. Nov. 23
Suzanne Valadon – Exhibition at the Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia – Tues. Nov. 30
Sandro Botticelli – Paris Exhibition at the Musee Jacquemart-Andre – Tues. Dec. 7
The Morozov Collection at the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris – Tues. Dec. 14
