It all began with Fredrick Charles Worth, a British tailor working in a Parisian textile company in the mid-1800s. His incredible attention to detail and breathtaking unique designs, and popularity among European royals, led to the establishment of the House of Worth, the first couture house.
Coco Chanel, by name of Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel, a French fashion designer who ruled Parisian haute couture for almost six decades.
