Anna Porter is the award-winning author of twelve books, both fiction and non-fiction, including Kasztner’s Train, winner of the Writers’ Trust Non-fiction Award and the Jewish Book Award for non-fiction, The Ghosts of Europe, winner of the Shaughnessey Cohen Award, and Buying a Better World, George Soros and Billionaire Philanthropy. Gull Island, a psychological thriller,is her 6th novel. She co-founded Key Porter Books, an influential publishing house she ran for more than twenty years. She is an Officer of the Order of Canada has been awarded the Order of Ontario.
