Briana Pellizzari-Lento is a recent master’s graduate from Queen’s University. Her current research explores the relationship between fashion and identity in 17th century Dutch portraiture, more specifically how fashion trends and fads in portraits can be used to help identify sitters. Besides conducting research, Briana has worked as practicum student at the Agnes Etherington Art Centre, an assistant curator at the Markham Museum, and is currently at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection as part of the education team.
