Carolyn Perry is a freelance lecturer with a background in museums and education. Carolyn started her career as a lecturer in the Department of Mediterranean Studies at Queen Mary, University of London where she taught Greek History and Classical Mythology, before moving the British Museum to set up and run the Arab World Education Programme. Since then, she has worked as a museum consultant in Europe and the Middle East and as Manager of the Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology at UCL. She has been accompanying cultural heritage tours since 1997, including to Greece and Albania.
