Alma Mikulinsky is an art historian and authority on the European avant-garde, with a focus on the work of Pablo Picasso. She earned her doctorate in Art History, Criticism, and Conservation at the University of Toronto, and has held a number of research fellowships, including at the University of Hong Kong’s Society of Scholars in the Humanities and at Ryerson University’s Modern Literature and Culture Research Centre. Currently she works as an art consultant and is an academic advisor to Remai Modern, where she helped organize the international symposium Picasso and Co: The Collaborative work of Pablo Picasso.
