George Bearfield

George Bearfield is a writer, academic and professional engineer with an eclectic range of interests. He has written for the ‘Independent on Sunday’ and has been a contributor to Boxing News, the world’s oldest boxing publication for the last 20 years. He also writes regularly on the safety of modern transportation systems (https://techsafetransport.substack.com). His first book, ‘Foursquare – the Last Parachutist’ provides the definitive story of Czechoslovakia’s role in the Second World War, as told through the eyes of his grandfather who was a member of that country’s intelligence services.
