Rimma Volynska

Rimma Volynska holds a PhD in Slavic from Brown University (1988).  Her Canadian teaching appointments include University of Toronto (1995-2000), University of Waterloo (2000- 2010) and York University (2010- 2018). Although she lectures on a wide range of topics of Russian Literature and Culture from the Medieval to Contemporary, she publishes on topics of Russian Women Authors, Russian Drama and the Russian Avant-Garde. GULag Camps literature constitutes her recent most passionate area of research and publication.
